She was a 1952 graduate of West Lafayette High School and received her undergrad from Purdue University. Joseph E. Anderson, 62, of Delphi, passed away at his home Sunday, July 21, 2019. Joe was born to the late Ralph “Dean” and Wilma Jean Robertson Anderson on June 20, 1957 in Lafayette, IN. He retired because of disability from Waste Management in Lafayette.
Our table visitors had no idea we would get an epic thumping if we were hooligans. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, her son Jeff, her daughter Barbara, her brothers Dan, Jack, and Mack Gochenour, and her sisters Audrey Ruch and Mary Lowery. Tom enjoyed coaching basketball and baseball for several years at Carroll High School. Tom took great interest in buying and restoring antique clocks and going to auctions. Tom loved spending time with family, friends and thoroughly enjoyed his granddaughters. She also leaves behind her great granddaughter Kylie Pullen, whom she loved and cherished.

Grandkids Jordan Blickenstaff, Sonnie Boudia, Kameron Brand, Zach Smeltz, Darbie Smeltz, Jackson Smeltz, Jed Smeltz, Kellin Lambirth, Hunter Camp , Steven Thomason, Aaron Thomason . Great grandkids Teagan, Lumen and Laken Brand, Koda, Mila and Knox Boudia, Rowan and Ellowyn Blickenstaff, Leona Jane Carrero, Quinn, Aden, Carson, Rennie and Michael. Sister Kay Hayes and some other family members but frankly he just can’t remember their names.

Kidwell, 74, of Fowler, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his home in Fowler. Tom was born to the late John and Marcella Brands Kidwell on December 18, 1946 in Hammond, IN. Tom spent most of his life in Benton County. He was a 1965 graduate of Fowler High School and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Fowler for years. Tom drove a semi at one time, he worked at Sam’s Club in Lafayette, McCutcheon High School in maintenance, he later worked at the Benton County Court House. His favorite place to work was as a young man at County Line Cheese in Garrett, IN.
Funeral Service
In 1975 she moved to Pennsylvania and worked in the textile industry and moved back to Carroll County in 2000. Phyllis was a member of the Cutler Presbyterian Church. There will be a celebration of Charlene’s life at a later date. Burial will be with her son at Ball Hill Cemetery.
Val at one time was a manager at Arby’s and Louie’s Tux in the Lafayette area. She also attended Klondike Middle School and later Harrison High School. Val attended Victory Christian Center in Lafayette.
John Robert Ruhly
In 1950 he joined the National Guard and then went into the Army Reserve where he served his country for 22 years and attained the rank of Major. Ray began his sales career at Palais Royale Women’s Clothing Store as the Main Floor Manager. He began his real estate career with John Weigle Realty as a salesperson and then broker until he moved to The Bouwkamp Agency and became sales manager. Ray was president of the Lafayette Board of Realtors in 1966.
Even in her death she was still giving as a donor. Her family and friends were the everything to her. On March 6, 1955 in Mulberry, IN, Dick married the love of his life, Barb J. Gascho and enjoyed 63 years together. He was a charter member of the Flora Grace Brethren Church. Kenneth’s life was about church, family, farming and community service.
Elizabeth Ann (Fisher) Sheetz

Geneva is preceded in death by two sons, Gary Lynch and Roy Farris. Geneva Jane Brummett, died peacefully at her home in Williamsport on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Geneva was born on February 20, 1938, in Delphi, IN to the late Forest and Edith Lynch.
One of Joe’s favorite things to do was to farm his land with his son and daughter. Joe’s first crop was in 1957 and his best corn harvest yield was this last fall. Joe was from the old school of farming, he liked to be on his John Deere tilling his ground with the wind and sun on his face. Joe was a very active member of the Bringhurst United Methodist Church. He served wherever needed, from church board, choir, dart league and even Frankenstein at Halloween.
Frances E. Scott Long, 81, of Flora, died Thursday, March 24, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi. Frances was born to the late Kenneth and Lottie Scott on January 22, 1941, in Carroll County, IN. She married Frank Scott and he preceded her in death. Frances was a homemaker and graduated from Flora High School. She is survived by a friend and caregiver, Virginia Henderson of Flora.
Craig Meade, Flora, Indiana and Chris Meade of Thorntown, Indiana. She is survived by two daughters, Teena Jones of Bringhurst; and Cathy Kingery of Cutler; a son, Michael Creasy of Houston, TX; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
